Foundation for Tacoma Students Focus Groups

Join us to share your perspective on how to define and measure our success in supporting Tacoma students’ journeys on pathways to college or good earning wage jobs.

You can REGISTER HERE for a virtual focus group in August or September. The focus group will take 60-90 minutes. Please select one focus group date/time option:

  • Tuesday, August 17: 3:30 - 5pm, virtual
  • Saturday, August 21: 11am - 12:30pm, virtual
  • Tuesday, August 31, 3:30-5pm, virtual
  • Thursday, September 2, 10-11:30AM, virtual

As an appreciation for your participation, you will receive $50.

We specifically want families of color and historically marginalized families to participate. During your registration, please indicate if you will need language support or accommodations (e.g. disability, interpreters, etc.). We want to be sure we create an environment that is welcoming and inclusive to all.

Background

The PSESD Strategy, Evaluation and Learning team are supporting the Foundation for Tacoma Students in their effort to set new indicators for the next decade.

Your input will guide how FFTS will help define which indicators are most appropriate for our community. Focus group results will be combined and shared with the community.

If you’re interested in participating in these focus groups, please REGISTER HERE.

For any questions, please contact Cassandra O'Francia (cofrancia@psesd.org).

Who Should Attend:

Family members, caregivers and partners from community-based organizations and school and district staff who are eager to learn about how to center anti-racist practices in their work.
