Seattle Public Schools Interagency Recovery Campus Evaluation
Seattle Public School's Interagency Recovery Campus provides a singular and important service in King County. Hosted through the Interagency Academy network of specialized campuses across Seattle, the location is the only public recovery school program operating in Washington.
The Recovery Campus serves students in grades 9-12, and up to age 21, actively working toward their academic, career, and recovery goals. The voluntary program guides students in building a sober lifestyle by cultivating connections with peers, engaging in fun prosocial activities, and fostering their presence in a recovery community.
Since 2021, PSESD’s Strategy, Evaluation, and Learning team has partnered with school leadership and King County staff in the Behavioral Health and Recovery Division of the Department of Community and Human Services to evaluate school outcomes and build capacity using Results-Based Accountability to support ongoing evaluation and performance monitoring. Our shared work includes three briefs, a school brochure and links to these documents are below.
